This blog is for all those out there who are looking for yummy gluten-free vegetarian meals. This blog evolved, as many things do, from necessity. In other words, I like to cook, I like to eat, but the web support for someone with my food constraints is limited. Why is it that people either think vegetarians only eat vegetables, or are happy to just binge on pasta for eternity? Do not get me started on those theories when eating out, either. Oh fine, get me started, just wait until I can put it in a blog post.
Three other things about me that you should know:
- I am sugar free. Years ago I discovered the Radiant Recovery program and it has changed my life. It also required a big dietary change, which is why you will not see recipes with sugar (real or artificial), or alcohol. You may see recipes with fruit, but that is about it.
- I am an athlete. I love to run, and last year have transitioned to triathlons.You may see this influencing my recipes as well.
- I never got over playing with my food. I indulge this creative need by occasionally arranging my food in small compact containers call Bento Boxes. They make me happy and give my inner child a chance to come out and play.
I do have another
blog about my transition from running to triathlons. I post on it seasonally, so if you check it and nothing was posted lately it is probably winter time in the Northern Hemisphere.
